Description
I love these beautiful bulbous plants!! The Iron Cross is primarily grown for the glorious mint green heart shaped leaf with a purple center. It looks similar to a shamrock which is a traditional St. Patrick”s day plant but, I always think of it more as a valentine plant. Traditionally though this plant is to celebrate the coming year and give hope. I think we all can agree we need that right now. Regardless of why you give this plant, the receiver will love it!
This is a low maintenance plant that likes indirect light and drying out between waterings. They also will start a little droop if they need water so listen if you see this happening with your plant. If your plant gets too leggy, increase the indirect light and it should even out.
